Documenting (Im)permanence is a book that explores narratives behind architectural remnants through the documentation of ten sites in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

The book is physically split into two and bound at each short end which allows for it to open on each side. It combines the structure of a dos-a-dos binding and tortoise shell binding.

One side of the book includes film photographs depicting the present-day state of each site. The other side of the book includes sketches, site plans and text that visualize the invisible layers of history on each site.
